Please detail a bit of information about your experience/career background?

I've been working in animation/games for the past 11 years on a wide variety of projects. I originally started out as an animator and over the years have slowly transitioned to technical animation. To begin with it was mostly out of project necessity but my interest in rigging and creating tools quickly took off.

Why Coconut Lizard?

I'd heard great things about Coconut Lizard and its sister studio d3t from friends and got a really good vibe from team members during the interview process. Even during the early stages, the team were super friendly and accommodating. Joining a team of talented technical animators was also a big pull, as previous positions have seen me being the only technical animator.

What do you love about games?

I enjoy competitive multiplayer games because games have always been a great way for me to keep in touch with friends. Getting a group of friends together and jumping on voice chat is where it's at.

What games are you currently playing, and what is your favourite game?

My favourite game is probably Turok for the N64. It'd be hard to compete with the nostalgia of a first console and playing games at Christmas.

My little boy keeps me pretty busy, so I haven't played many recent games. I tend to stick to FPS I can play with friends and hop in and out of at a moment’s notice. I'll always be a sucker for a MOBA though.

Any fun facts or hobbies?

My wife says I have "flavours of the month" and she's probably not wrong. I'm always on the lookout for new hobbies. My most consistent flavour of the month is probably paddleboarding, as soon as the summer arrives and it's not freezing, I try to get out as much as possible.
